I think it was much better running the straight in the other direction this week, and making the track slightly longer made a huge difference - It didn't feel like an 18th scale track this week! I think we could go a big bigger still if everyone squashes up a bit in the pits, would anyone have issues with the track being a bit further away? We need to look into possibly having closer spacing on the stagger in qualifying, Craig and myself had a hard time putting consistent runs in as we were pretty much into lapped traffic on lap 2. A 10 second stagger doesn't work too well with an almost 12 second lap!
I'll bring some thin strips of wood next time to make the jumps a bit smoother, I designed them as landing ramps so the lip at the bottom is a bit big which is why they were a bit pants
I've got some time off soon so I should get chance to make some more features, proper curved profile takeoff ramps are next on the list then some straight boxes so we can make a tabletop
