What I do know is that following discussions with Maritime Racing the understanding is that as and when the permanent Off-Road track is built and running (due Autumn 2011 ) all three off-road classes (2WD, 4WD and SCT) that ONLY recognised SCT tyres will be allowed!
None of those cheaty 1:8 rallycross tyres but proper 2.2/3.0" SCT tyres, but I'm sure Maritime will confirm as and when they get nearer to the eagerly awaited opening date?

I ran standard Asssociated SC10 kit wheels and tyres on the SCX-60 and they were Ok to be fair, they squealed like a pig on the wooden bits

, but grip as a whole was not bad on them, a little loose on the carpet but good on the wood and not too much on the astro corner.......
