Hi Ted,

RTR is superb value for money, ideal for a starter car. Infact after coming back to the sport after 15 years out it might have done me for a year. Dont worry about speed, its quick enough to be competitive (reletive).

Depends on your sons competence. For Adam its a case of getting round the track cleanly, irrespective of speed / performance etc etc, which its doing it job for. He's come on so well. When you do start racing I would advise as much track time as possible for him - we go to the meetings early so he can have 1 hour at least driving round, makes a big difference for him.

I cant see the problem with it to be honest, it does what it says.

EDIT: I got the B4.1 for me so we could share spares, makes things so easy and cheaper!. Also it comes with full instructions to buy the RTR and strip it down, then rebuild.
