The battery doesn't have to be on the list either. There is a rule in there somewhere, that says if it's an RTR type battery, and the capacity isn't above a certain amount (can't remember what it is) then it's ok.
Only thing you might want to do is change to tyres - as some series have tyre controls, and the kit ones wouldn't be up to much anyway.
