I have to agree, a long down ramp makes jumping a whole lot more achievable. Any jump that expects you to land on the flat can be difficult and painful.

I remember up at the first off-road round at Ardent, they had a cross-over with equal up and down lengths. It only lasted the practice day as no one could land it.

Time spent at the design stage could save time later?
