I was about half a second slower when the guys that went to Petit were testing Minipins. And the wear is minimal.
We just cut the spikes off the yellows we've been using all summer, but some guys have tested the slick minipins now, and due to their stiffer sidewalls and such, they seem even better suited. Also, that doesn't wear the carpet any more than touring slicks.
