Glad you are getting on well with and enjoy using the masking.
If the other shells you did were fine but this one was different then I would assume it is an effect of the user. How long have you had the mask? Were all the shells done with the same batch and at the same time? It could be a result of thinning with the water or the thickness sprayed on. Feel free to email me a picture of it as it's hard to tell without seeing.
