With my KO2123, I just use the one that comes in the kit with the bellcrank - I didn't realise there was another one available. You do appear to have a valid point that if the arm is not centred on the servo (rather than the bellcrank) then it's the servo horn at fault. Is the servo metal geared? If so, I'd be tempted to power up the car and hit the wheels so you can see the problem as it occurs (but then I am quite a rough arse...)
