Now I am posting a few questions before I commit to the plunge:

My closest track is eden park raceway, so with that in mind:

1. what front tyre rear tyre combo works well there in the dry?
2. what kind of motor wind - I have - oddly either a 13.5 or a 4.5;
3. How long do a set of front and rear tyres last
4. What car should I buy - bear in mind I do have electrics

Any help or guidance will be much appreciated

1. - In the wet go for, Ballistic Green mini spikes or Schumacher Green minispikes. In the dry go for Schumacher Yellow minispikes.

2. - 13.5 will be a lil too low for off road, and the 4.5 is too mental for off road. best bet is something like a 7.5 ( or a 6.5 ) then you can limit it on the transmitter for starting out.

3. - Usually a set a tyres will last a couple meetings but its good just a carry a few extras with you.

4. - Now this is the hard question, it all boils down to- "I have this car therefore its the best". I run a AE B4 and have done since I started racing, I really like it but every kit has it's downsides. Other people may have started out with ( for example ) a Schumacher Cougar SV, and they might have really liked it so they would recommend that. So its a very hard decision, You can usually pick up a B4 ft on oople for around £100 second hand with spares.
