I use a driver, but yes you do need to feel when the spring is compressed,as you say you don't need to give it the bigun, just enough, it's easy to feel when it compressed, then back it off as the instructions, I have tried running mine a bit less tight, but with a 6.5 on good grass you can hear it slip, I know I could over come this with a bit more slipper, but I like the car to be a bit aggressive and I hate that feeling of being over ridden by the slipper clutch....but thats just the style I like

but neil has a point, if you over do it you could stretch the threds/screw thus weekening it, as it is small
