Since this is my new RC Truck, can i break in the engine during winter?

i'm currently in Buffalo NY, which means the winter will stay for a very long time..

second, is it save to play it on snow? will the car get's damaged or smth?

the glow plugs.. how long usually ones need to make a replacement? thank you so much for any help... thank yoU!
