It's probably the usual 'unmountable boot volume' problem, in which case is repair install wont work as setup won't see the current windows install because the boot sector's stuffed.

Keep hammering F8 as the machine is starting,
You will get the windows boot menu, it should be the same as the one you've been getting but there will be another option; something like 'Disable automatic restart on system failure',
Select that and wait for the blue screen,
Does it say 'unmountable boot volume' anywhere?
