The centre housing now runs on 5mm bearings instead of 4mm, which IMO is a big upgrade

Which means new slipper shafts & plates too I think. There's also new rear lower housings to match.
Unfortunately I don't think a conversion kit would be economical as it's mainly the expensive (alloy/carbon) parts that are new, but thats just my thoughts.
