difference is it won't flip backwards with the weight of it!

A good thing about 4wd is being able to marshall yourself with the front wheels when it stands on its side after an 'incident'

Downsides are higher maintainence eventually, they fly like a house brick with weight and you need several high capacity packs to run at a club meeting where charging time is more limited as they are thirsty, even with smaller motors.

I wouldn't knock 2wd, have run them all last year and will be again this year as they are brilliant fun, just holding off for a while to see if Losi bring a competition variant of its new 2wd truck out (could be waiting a long while if their 2wd buggy development time is anything to go by!)
i can marshall mine without the low flying dad in the hi vis as well!! the battery packs,go lipo bud!! i only need two all night and i run a 5.5!!
think is does boil down to what you raced before,me i raced trucks, buggy's snoring cars!! but always felt happy with the rc10t2/3/4.think its to do with how well and far those things will jump!!
