Not that I'm condoning this guys actions, but that sentence seems pretty harsh for what seems to be petty theft. Thing is, if there was consistency in the judicial system then that sentence would be ok. What is ridiculous however is that more serious criminals often get a more
lenient sentence. Go figure.
Given this was a story about a 30 year old and stealing toy cars, it did also make me chuckle somewhat
