Use thicker washers 0.8mm, part no TD709001. Reduces outdrive wobble, end float which opens up the seal causing excess leakage. I use the standard seals and only need to slightly top the diffs once every 4-6 weeks depending on how often I race.

With the thicker waahers the standard seals are fine.

Now for the moaners, the every seal leaks you can not stop them leaking it's trying to seal a rotating part!!!

An x-seal is the most efficient way of sealing a rotating part and if use an o-ring it has a larger contact area causing friction and a tighter diff.

Yes use them in 8th nitro because they use thicker oil so friction has a minimal effect. But on the 410 it'll create a tighter diff action.

I'm sure in the years of development durango chose an x-ring for the above reasons.
