I think the stand point is, If the wrong person signs for it, it's not the PO's problem! As if that person is not the name on the parcel, or the right address and not expecting anything they should not sign....If they do they are being dishonest the postoffice has done it's job.

Sadly the only reason I use recorded with all my parcels is so I can proove to the reciver that I have posted the item, by sending them the track and trace number

Worst of all, the so called ebay dispute investigation found in his favour....their investigation consisted of checking the tracking number and that's about it

Still, taken it to post office review now, so will see how that goes
