When i went to the LRP race a few years ago they pulled us all to obe side and went through everything on the UK side, they didnt like the look of the pro trak charger with a keypad on the front and a digi display
but they were fine and even let motor spray and stuff pass through.
On the german side when we were coming back they didnt even look at our stuff or xray it we were running that late but mr drescher still managed to get a £45 charge for excess baggage
