So you think it is Ok for people that are able to take the day off for extra practice, or for professional drivers to have a "slight" advantage over "regular people that have to work on thursday, friday?
and about locals having an advantage .. isn't that allready the case in about 95% of all competitions where there is a permanent circuit?
and what to think about clubs who organise a test-competition the year or 6 months before the big event? I agree that often the track is slightly changed when that is possible, but not always AND we are a small bunch of guys, and building such a track is quite a large task. All boarding is 50% rebuild in wood every time we change the track-layout.
Extra advantage is that the track is now tested and fully ready before he event.
Thinking about it .... I just realise I should really get used to the fact that whatever one does, there will always be critics.
