A significant number of the drivers will not be able to take the day off for the race and will only arrive on saturday.
So people that were able to take these days off might have an advantage over the people who only arrive on saturday.
But now, everyone is able to test the track and figure out a decent setup.
And knowing our drivers, decent setups will certainly be available over the internet before the competition-weekend.

So you think it's ok to have a "slight" advantage if you're local then by being able to practice on the track for weeks before everyone else arrives?
