what you could try is attach reciver pack to the reciver and see if the problem is still there this way the reciver will be getting a clean 6vDC with a higher current range you may find the servo is fine but the bec curcitry in the esc isn't allowing the current to be drawn.

if ther problem is till there i would almost certanly change the servo.
