ok if the servo is pulling to much current the voltage drop the reciver power drops the esc gets strange signals from reciever as that is the piece of equipment what tells the esc what to do all the reciever uses the esc for is power 6vDC.
what you could try is attach reciver pack to the reciver and see if the problem is still there this way the reciver will be getting a clean 6vDC with a higher current range you may find the servo is fine but the bec curcitry in the esc isn't allowing the current to be drawn.
if ther problem is till there i would almost certanly change the servo.
