Just had a letter from Helger Racing RE Spher comp 2007 that i sent them to get sorted. I am a bit unsure of the comment they have put on the bottom of the page. I hope this is ok to post with a shop name being mentioned. Here goes!
"Unit is shutting down with very little load. Would suggest that the motor is checked, because the fault I am getting here is not a sensor issue. If your motor has a fault and is plugged into a good speedo, you risk damaging the speed control. Sorry but i have to charge for the solder?scratches to the case."
I am going to ring them in the morning but to me that means they are going to send me my speedo back unfixed and they are blaming my motor. Maybe i am misunderstanding them but surely if the unit is " shutting down with very little load" then its the speedo not the motor as i didnt send the motor off with the speedo. Sorry for the long post but i would like some advice before i speak to them in the morning.Thanks.Chris.
