The reason I asked the original question is that the only difference between our two buggies is that he runs the Nosram 6.5 and I run the LRP X11 6.5 (don't ask our LHS only had 1 of each!). My buggy cut in and out and it was thought to be thermalling, I changed to a smaller pinion and it was better but it still has moments where it stops for no apparent reason and then goes again a few seconds later, usually just as the poor marshall has run his legs off and got to it!
I'm just wondering if it could be a motor issue rather than the speedo? |
I'm hoping I've sussed this, I actually got brave and decided to go away from the default settings, as someone else had suggested, as we only run nimh cells so don't need the auto detect on. Changed the puch setting to a more aggressive mode and ran 6 races lat Sunday without a single cut out.
