The newer fasmask is pretty thick now compared to what it used to be. I use it all the time now, as I can't arsed with importing the diveleys stuff.
BUT if the fasmask is being used with rattle cans I would reccomend applying 4 or more coats with a brush. 3 coats isn't enough as the solvent from the cans softens the mask and makes it difficult to peel off.
For TC shells you will need more than 4oz. You will need the larger 16oz bottle at least if you have to apply 4/5 coats. 4oz may just do one shell with 3 coats.
