The only time I would ever considering running one, would be on very smooth and high grip carpet, or smooth fresh grass. I actually run a diff inside on carpet at club, and find the car fine. A one way can be quicker, but it can make the car harder to jump. I now prefer a diff, as i means I dont have to swap between tracks, and just tune the car in. A one way can also make the car very twitchy on bumpy and high grip tracks, such as astro etc...
