When u get it go on the mardave website there is a bit on haw to set up ur car, well worth a look.
With mardave 90% of getting the car to handle well is tyres, get them right for the track and ul be fine, this is why i say the VRX is not really worth it if ur starting.
Get a Pug 205 with a big wing too (def the best shell)

i agree a vrx is a posh version of a mardave but thats it it just looks better really the hopups you need can be bought for pennies too get on ebay theres always some mardave v12s on there worth a look just slap some bearings on the rear axle and some hd steering arms on it and your sorted,just down to electrics and tyre choice then for speed and grip
