I've mounted my spektrum receiver on top of the steering servo with double sided tape for now until I can afford the spektrum micro to replace it with. I put double sided tape on the power cap and stuck it against my Nosram BL esc so it's stuck to the esc at the side and the chassis at the bottom.
Probably not the best way of doing things but there was room for the receiver where I've put it and being 2.4 I havn't had any interference problems.
