Depends on the surface. At Chatterton I got grip roll with the standard AE SC tyres but at York the std tyres were gash.
Fastrax are bringing out some SC spikes in 'immitation' yellow compound which should be better.
If you're talking outdoor the kit tyres worked fine for me
