Unfortunately on Ebay this has happened to me many times when buying all kinds of items, sadly Ebay don't seem to clamp down on this at all as they are getting their advertising costs ££££. It is very annoying and i can understand where Sunbeam is coming from, its very unprofessional and simply shouldn't happen. If you don't have the stock to match your listing, then don't list, simples......
But be thankful that you received a refund, as in the past its taken me weeks to resolve and usually ended up with with a Paypal claim.

[dbizzle5]So you bought the batt's and unfortunately there was obviously an error on PBM's part who then emailed you to apologize and sent you a full refund straight away? Whats there to be warned of?

I cant see no mention of an apology received tho, Sunbeam only mentions he had a refund. I see in your signature PBM is mentioned, perhaps you have a tie to that shop or work there, can you explain better to him rather that assume what has/hasn't happened?
