Sounds like a great plan, however.

There have been many before you with this idea.

You will need a very big field a jcb, a roller, 1000's/m of ducting pipe and some racers that have many years of experience to help you designa track that is gonna be suitable.

timing gear, which can be upto £6000.00

and then the main issue, no neighbours for miles around. A local model shop opened one not to long ago, they spent a lot of money developing the site only to have it shut down due to 1 complaint and unfortunately it only takes the 1.

I would welcome a new track in Yorkshire however unless it is indoor i would have to keep my loyalties with MMRX although i would be more than happy to attend everynow and then.

Do you have some land in mind or are you just gauging interest. I would consider approaching a farmer who has an unused barn (most have these days as they contract out their work.) that you could hire and build an indoor dirt track that is fully lit and available to use all year round. If you were to do that i'm sure you would soon gain a lot of new friends.

Best of look with whatever you decide to do, and i look forward to seeing you down at MMRX should the rain ever stop.
