Hi Chris,
the 4.5 sintered motor is a very 'hot' motor for off-road, its a very aggressive motor. its also using the very 'snatchy' sintered rotor.
the 7.5 will always be a lot smoother and will 'crawl' away from a stop much smoother, but on the flipside will be a slower motor with less torque.
could you give details of what motors you are running in which cars and on what gearings etc...
