I'm not quite sure how so many people at Rug Racers have seen the new layout and markings, since they only went down a week ago. Have they all been down in the past few days, or (more likely) are they talking about the old layout that was just made from drainpipes? Yes the old track markings were shit, but they're gone now, as are the people who requested them.

The new markings are fine, I've been practicing there with my touring car and it all works great. There are now curbs on the apexes like any proper on-road track. It's a good fun track to drive, doesn't damage cars anymore, and feels like a proper on-road track.

For TC, only one main layout will be used. The cut-throughs are only there to allow corporate stuff during the day; a beginner would take forever to get round the full layout and it would require too many marshalls, so they have the option of shortening the track, or splitting it into sections for different groups.

I think people who have never even driven a car round the track need to give it a try. It's open every day and late nights on Wednesdays, and there will be some racing starting to happen over the winter now the track is sorted.

Please note; I don't work for Moto Arena, I'm defending the place because it's a great RC venue that we can all benefit from.
