There's a pin/nub in the bottom inside of the diff case, and if you install one of the diffs backazzwards it'll hang up the diff and/or make a clicking noise if you break it off.
Seen people do it, and it's funny them dropping the car on the track and not moving either direction - as the front wheels want to go backwards and the rear wheels want to go forward.
