It's like anything you want to look after, or take care or even enjoy doing as a hobby........

Why stand in a field to race a model car? There isn't actually any point as such, other then you enjoy doing it..... Detailing is a big business now and is becoming more and more popular with all sorts of special products out on the market (mainly driven by the US Market)

I think the key would be to get 2 identical cars (Ferrari 360's for instance), find one that's been washed regularly by Mr smith with his bucket and sponge, then compare it to the same car that's been professionally detailed and i guarantee you would be blown away....

The other thing is what it can do to the value of the car, if you were selling a car it can be the difference between selling it at all, or making a good few £££ on it....
