It does come close to the springs, but the body doesn't rub on the turnbuclkes which was my main concern.
This is only if you use the forward holes on the aluminium hubs and forward holes on the inner holders though. However we always use these on high grip, and on low grip there is no clearance issue with the wishbones flipped...
Now for the shocks, they've managed to better the velvets! There's now an o-ring at the base of the thread for the small black cartridge cap, which means it's not going to unscrew itself anymore, and they provide X-rings as standards. Pistons are 5 x 1.2mm holes, wich big chamfers on both sides but not really tapered.
X-Gear springs are very nice and have quite a bit of clearance over the bodies so they're not gonna rub either. I have already calculated the spring rates...
