Now for the shocks, they've managed to better the velvets! There's now an o-ring at the base of the thread for the small black cartridge cap, which means it's not going to unscrew itself anymore, and they provide X-rings as standards. Pistons are 5 x 1.2mm holes, wich big chamfers on both sides but not really tapered.

X-Gear springs are very nice and have quite a bit of clearance over the bodies so they're not gonna rub either. I have already calculated the spring rates...

Any photos of the BB-shocks mounted on a RB-5 / RB5MCS?
