I'd definitely recommend the alu suspension mounts, don't have to be the Tamiya ones, there are other options that are cheaper.

Since installing them and the fluorine coated suspension balls I haven't had a wishbone pop out at all, and I have abused it quite a bit.

I tried the carbon reinforced ones first, they were better than the kit part, but a high-speed cart-wheel would still pop the wishbone out.
