Thanks Dave you are absolutely right! I wonder where the side plates are mounted on the front side? Screwed together with the Servo or just fixed with double sided tape?
However this is no solution Tamiya would make for a series production car. That why i think they must release a new undecowl. Second possibilty is: the main reason why there are no holes for the old NiMh batteries is that there won´t be an Undercowl and there might only be the naked Chassis plate which you could protect with Chassis protection tape.
As for the Aluminium servo mounts i have no idea about the part number, i have never seen them, anyone?
