Differant types of tape and the time left on make a huge differance, i don't like to spend out more than i have to so i use sellotape 2 day mask, you can buy it in whsmith!
The only other thing i make good use of is a hairdryer, i use a 2 speed ionic one but i would recommend cleaning paint off it before the wife spots you.....
As far as peeling off, i have never had this problem, just don't use a finished shell for 24 hours.
