I've found peeling when soft the only way, but that leaves a slightly rough line. I've left shells weeks to dry over a radiator and it still peeled.
I have tried backing the paint with solvent or acrylic paint and it seems to soak into the faskolor and make it stick properly, but it kind of defeats the object of faskolor
