all im saying is why make a off road car that runs on astro turf or cement? design a car specificly for that and to answer your question we do not run on carpet with dirt thrown on top of it! its strictly clay. and if you get outside of the line in a blue groove track you lose it and loose controll of the car. our tracks are ran specificly to make it hard on the driver!! sometimes loose and sometimes grooved. also track conditions vary and change over a course of a hour or two depending on weather and other things very fast!! one round your running goose bumps and the next your running bar codes!! this is why i say astro turf and other tracks other than clay are extremely easy to drive on because you set your car up once and your done!! always have mass amounts of traction and never have to go out and buy a different set of tires. running indoors is EXTREMELY rough on a OFF ROAD CAR too your talking about diff gears every other week or so. but thats just me and my opinion!!
