Ok, you can use the UMW502 rear axles to use Proline / Losi / AE rear wheel fitment BUT only if your willing to pull off the FS2 suspension as well as the driveshafts and replace it with FS spec.

I'll be honest here, so far I've never run a single lap on Kyosho wheels on the 4WD or the rear of the RB5 (although the 2WD I've got sitting here in front of me has Kyosho wheels on and has run a fair bit). This is because I had boxes and boxes full of AE fitting wheels. When I first got the ZX5-SP i measured up the front end and found that the new Kyosho wheel were so close (about 0.6mm offset difference) to the Losi front wheels I could use those. Out to the workshop I went and some adapters where made.

Over the last couple of years my stocks of wheels have become very tired and damaged so it's time to replace a lot of them.
As far as I am concerned it's a no brainer now with the FS2 / SP2 rear ends to run Kyosho wheels, as I have on the front of the RB5 all along!

The big advantage (and one I've been missing all year to be honest) is that with the Kyosho wheels you have the option of the different rear end widths and axle spacings .... there have been a few times where I'd have prefered to run with the SP2 / FS2 rear ends and have suffered badly not being able to use them.

Add to all that the fact that Kyosho wheels are the best quality you can buy, never seem to crack and the large hex means you should never strip one and I feel damn silly for sticking with the inferior option for so long.

Hope that helps explain the wheels situation ... bet it begs a question on the rear ends now .. LOL
