Matt,
It's just such an awesome day, make sure you get there early - we usually get there soon after 7am as you can walk around the pits before it's too busy getting right up to all the old cars F1, Rally, Touring cars and bikes of all era's. The current F1 teams usually start warming the cars up around 8am too so that usually creates a bit of a buzz and gets the crowds built up.
I found the Paddock grandstand which is opposite the big Goodwood house is usually one of the best places as you get to see the cars/bikes for quite a while and they usually absolutely nail it on this section so is good for pics and video. The startline is pretty cool too but gets busy.....
The rally stage was a bit disappointing - they created it last year for the first time but you couldn't see much of it to be honest. I have heard they've improved it for this year, and mr Mikkola has designed the course himself so should be interesting.
Lee's going to bring his new toy (i'm sure he'll tell you what it is) but unfortunately the public can't take cars up there haha, would be good if they were allowed (you'll see what i mean when you see the kind of cars in the car park alone)!
Should be a good day though, hopefully see you there!
