I'm sick of struggling with my brushed setup at wet meetings. Today my motor was going through brushes every 2nd race, and would just seem to lose power after a lap or so.
Anyway, I think I was the only one using brushed gear today, with everyone else having waterproofed their brushless gear somehow. So I'm going to take the plunge and get a brushless system for my wet car but I have a couple of questions:
- last time I looked, there weren't any waterproof escs available. Is this still the case?
- if not, can anyone recommend a good club level esc that lends itself to waterproofing. I.e. to set up my Nosram Shere I have to poke an allen key through holes into the case, which would make it difficult to seal
