Can't comment on TC's or FDR's. I had a little trouble initially with the Novalink becasue I hadn't read the instructions properly. Things do have to be done in the right order.

Basically it's drivers first, then programme installed. When going to use, have the Novalink in before starting programme, then plug in the speedo. If you’re using the firmware updater after it’s done the quick count to 999 and asked you to plug in the speedo, unplug and plug back in the novalink to speedo. If it doesn’t recognise it, do it again.

Lastly the firmware update files are on a separate download page from Novak. It’s currently V1.3 of both software and firmware. I’ve had running on Windows XP and 7 (32bit) now without any issues.

Lastly, only ran it once so far but for me, in buggy, it’s way smoother and with better brakes than previous Novak Speedo’s.
