WRCA @ S&DMCC
Must say big thanks to Saundersfoot for allowing us the use of their track to put on the event - seamed to be well organised before and well run throughout the day.
I actually did much better than i thought i would as i am only just getting back into 1/10th 4WD electric after a brake of 8-9 years. Qualified midfield (8th out of 14 4WD) and finished much higher up (Not sure what position -6th i think). Kyosho ZX5-SP2 was brilliant to drive even with my 10.5 motor, as it managed to keep up with and pass much faster motors through the infield only loseing out a little down the long straight. Even some dedicated rallycross runners were surprised by the speed of the cars and the times posted by them - pitty 1/10th arnt a little louder as I missed the BUZZ of the nitro's that i've been running for the past few years.
A great day was had by all i believe, just leaves me with one thought :- To truggie or not to truggie that is the question for next season....................
