My 13.5 car with reasonably priced Speed Passion turbo esc is FANTASTIC fun to drive. I love it!

And I'm sure it costs less to stay competitive than my old brushed setup.
If you want a beginners class, Tamiya minis are perfect. I also have one and rarely touch it, it's so reliable. Good fun close racing as well.
