Just read on some thread here that Tammy is planning a shaft driven 4wd car...I wonder why lol. And yes the 511 line is done and discontinued.

The 501x arms are no where near as tough as the DEX arms. Feel both in your hands or try screwing a shock end screw and u will see. You can strip the Tam plastic at will...not with the DEX.

Secondly Like I said, the car was built perfectly and ran great INDOORS ONLY. Guys Im not bashing the car...its amazing I know it cuz Ive owned it...but in terms of maintenance, durability and dare I say performance?? The dex is the cream of the crop. Theres no doubting it...drive one then you will see. It is the future of RC. Theres no magic diff setting, no pulleys to worry about if a tooth is chipped, no belt tension settings to experiment with, no "trick" to remove the spur...which DOES destroy the center pulleys as well as the belts and other parts which include ur spur from twisting it and it rubbing on the pinion. You have to remove all your gear from one side to get to the lower motor mount screw just to adjust gear mesh. Cmon man...to deny this fact is just plain ignorant.
