Normally you are welcome to race 3 times without joining the BRCA as a guest.
After which time it is recommended to join even if only for insurance reasons, (think if your car hit a marshal and caused injury). I believe Brca runs annually from Jan to Dec, so perhaps submitting a membership just prior to the new year may be the ideal time for yourselves
