Hi,
Faskolor won't really work on the ABS as it gives a flat/matt finish.
Solvent laquers may attack the paint.

Look around for Createx AutoAir paints. These will be better for the ABS shell as they are the same as what people use to paint motorbike helmets. They do a whole range of Clearcotes too, to get a glossy finish.

Not too sure about the chrome. i've only used it on lexan. Alclad do a chrome for ABS type work, but not sure if it loses its mirror effect once its finished with a clearcote. it shouldn't do providing its the reight kind of clearcote.

Mr Miller will be able to tell you more as he is more into that kind of work.
